NTPC Consultancy signed a MoU today with Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) and Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) for NTPC services as Project Implementation Agency (PIA) for distribution infrastructure work under Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).

The signing of MoU took place at the SKICC in Srinagar at the inauguration ceremonial event of newly sponsored projects by the Government of India/Government of J&K in the presence of Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of UT of Jammu & Kashmir.

Along with NTPC, PESL (PGCIL) and RECPDL also signed and exchanged the MoU.

Principal Secretary J&K, Chief Secretary J&K, Managing Directors, DISCOMs of J&K and other higher dignitaries were also present.
